WASATO INTERNATIONAL

The main function of this tab is to import products that are not included in your Online Store catalogue. You will be able to import them directly from the Icecat database. For the moment, Icecat has three main lists from which you can select the products to import:

Daily list

It is updated every day with the new products on the market as well as with the products whose data sheet have been updated.

On market list

This one contains only the new products and the ones that are available on the market.

Complete list

Here you will find all the products that have been added to ICEcat database: all new, on the market and obsolete products.

IMPORTANT.

With the BASIC version you can just use the daily list to import products. The other two lists are available only in the FULL and PRO version. However, we don't recommend you to use these two lists for importing products if you don’t have at least 1GB of free RAM. If you still want to import using these files, please notice that you need a computer with enough resources to achieve a successful reading.

The best way to import new products is to import them first in your database and then update them with the WASATO Icecat Module.

If you are a user of the PRO module, you will be also able to import your products directly in the module from CSV files. Then they will be automatically updated with all the Icecat data. To be able to use this feature, it would be necessary to have at least one of the following information of each product in your CSV file:

1. The EAN/UPC number
2. The Product Reference and the Manufacturer

Everything else can be imported directly from the Icecat database, but “Notice that some manufacturers are just available for Full Icecat Users, the quantity and prices are not imported from the Icecat database”.

To import the products from the Icecat database, first you will have to select the category and then the module will show you which manufacturers are available under that category. After that, you can select the manufacturers from which the products will be searched and then imported.

With the FULL and PRO version you can as well use your own Online Store categories to search in the Icecat database. For this you will previously have to create a relationship between your categories and the Icecat categories.

As in the update tabs you can as well choose what kind of information you want to import and select just the ones you need, for example:
